What sports do you cover?
Although our particular expertise is in shooting football and soccer, we will cover any sporting event.
Our league already has a photographer, why should we hire you?
The photographers afilliated with most leagues are only hired to take posed team and individual images. Chances are that you already have a refrigerator full of these posed photos if your child has been previously played in sports leagues. We can offer a service not provided by the typical sports photographer in taking action photos of your athlete and offering custom art work that you can proudly hang on your walls.
How do I reserve a photo session and how long in advance?
You can request a reservation on our Contact page of the website. After we confirm our availability for the event we will send an invoice for the shooting fee if applicable. In the case that we are not available, we will contact you to reserve an alternative date. We request a minimum of 2 days advance reservation to ensure our availability. Requests closer to the date will be handled as our availability allows.
How many images will you take?
The actual number of images that we will take of your athlete varies depending on the sport, his or her playing time, time of the day and whether any other athletes are being photographed. We guarantee, however, to provide a minimum of 25 images. In the case that this is not reached, we will provide a refund or credit.
What happens if the game is cancelled?
If the game is cancelled in advance, we request that you contact us to let us know. If the game is cancelled while it is being played we will provide a refund or credit if we have not been able to take the 25 image minimum that we guarantee. We can then reschedule if desired.
What about if my athlete does not get much playing time?
If your athlete does not get enough playing time in order for us to capture the guaranteed 25 image minimum, we will provide a partial refund or credit.
Will the watermark appear on my photos?
No, the watermark is only shown on the web and is only for our protection.
How long does it take until my photos are ready to be viewed online?
We guarantee that the photos will be available within ten business days after the event. However, in most cases the images will be available within 48 hours.
Exceptions apply during busy football season. How will you deliver the orders, do you mail them?
To keep the prices low, most of our customers pick-up their orders from our Woodstock studio. Our prices don't include shipping. Most of the time we don't mail large prints because of special handling and packing needed, but we do mail any orders if requested by client. Additional charges apply.
How do I receive the original files?
The original high-resolution images are available for purchase either one-by-one or on a CD with all images. Original images are color corrected files with basic image enhancements. Original images do not include any custom designs or fully retouched photos. Photos ordered as prints are fully retouched. A low-resolution image for web sharing (not suitable for print) is provided as a bonus for every photo ordered as print. These files will have a small watermark (our logo) in a corner.
Why don't you have photos of my athlete in your galleries?
Ok, this is a delicate subject. We hope to have high quality images of your athlete as much as you do. However, in the sports world, as in real life, few things are perfect. First, contact us and let us know the game time, team and the player number, we might find your athlete in our galleries. We don;t post all the photos on our website. Below you will find a number of possible reasons why we may not have a photo of your athlete in our collection.
- Shadows or other obstruction covering face
- The image was out of focus
- Athlete had little game time or was not part of major action
- Coach or official obstructed view
- Bad or inappropriate faces made, and we don't wish to embarrass your athlete
- Umpire/Referee did not allow us to be in the proximity of action
Please understand that it is in our best interest to provide quality photos of every player that participates in each event that we cover, however, due to some of the above circumstances and others that may arise, this may not be possible
What equipment do you use?
We use professional photo equipment from Canon, light set-ups, and professional design software to create beautiful sports photography.
